One of seven Radiologists with various degrees of fellowship training in musculoskeletal MRI, Dr. Chen completed a full year of fellowship training under the direction of one the legends in this field. Due to his extensive training in musculoskeletal MRI, Dr. Chen provides valuable expertise in the full gamut of imaging in sports medicine and orthopedics. He plays a leadership role in consulting with physicians and surgeons and is the lead radiologist for the musculoskeletal division of the group.
His special interests include:
• Orthopedic and Sports medicine imaging
• Joint injections for diagnosis and pain relief
• Rheumatologic imaging
Dr. Chen earned his medical degree at Indiana University and completed his internship at Loyola University Medical Center. He completed his radiology residency at the University of California, Davis, as well as fellowship training in Musculoskeletal MRI in Los Angeles with the Beverly Radiology Medical Group. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.
